Why We Do It (Vision)

As long as you're in the water, why not make waves?

We could have chosen a myriad of leadership topics to dedicate our efforts to. Why trust?

As we wrestled with the question of what is the key insight we've gained through our 20 years of direct experience as successful business leaders (and over a decade of extensive research), we have become passionately convinced that TRUST is the one thing that changes everything . . . and is the root of all leadership influence.

We believe that teaching people around the planet to establish, grow, extend, and restore trust is a noble cause – a cause that will raise the tide and lift all boats.

We feel compelled to do this work and are inspired and energized by the positive impact our work consistently has on people. We are fortunate to be uniquely qualified to do this work and feel called to do it.

Life harmony is a higher state than life balance, and we advocate responsible behavior that fosters harmony and trust in all relationships. Whether in your role as a parent, spouse, worker, leader, customer, supplier, investor, or any of the myriad of roles you play in life; you will significantly increase your leadership influence by being a trusted person.

High-trust, high-performance organizations create trusted, influential people who are responsible stewards of the resources and people they influence. They make good things happen. Our work equips people and organizations to leverage and share their assets through The SPEED of Trust and influence.

The character side of trust is just a beginning — an important beginning we all aspire to — but one that is, in and of itself, insufficient. Influence is informed, not only by who we are but also by what we accomplish . We must not only be good—we must be good for something . For our work and our lives to be meaningful, we must take a stand, amplify our talents, and build upon our strengths. At CoveyLink, we engage our clients in this kind of rigor.

Grateful for the strengths and talents we have, we feel a heartfelt responsibility to influence others to amplify their strengths and influence. We recognize that we have been privileged to be personally influenced by some of the great thought leaders of our time. We are energized by the community of other like-minded people and organizations out there who intend to make a difference in the world. Our intent is to equip them to amplify the ripple effect of their influence.

We do intend to make waves
